These types of plants are called epiphytes, the most well known being Spanish Moss. Air plants are evergreen, perennial flowering plants, meaning they won't die in the winter, and they flower to reproduce. To water your air plant, submerge the plant in water for 10-20 minutes every two or three weeks. Let the plant dry on a clean cloth or paper towel before returning the plant to its holder. If your plant is blooming, do not submerge the flowers because they can rot and wilt. Instead you can put them in a shallow bowl and soak the bottom half of the plant or mist them more frequently with a spray bottle. As with any of our products, don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions about your new plant: Contact Us
