Frequently Asked Questions
What materials do you use?
We pride ourselves in using only the highest quality, sustainable materials. This includes solid hardwood (maple, walnut, bubinga, zebrawood, purpleheart, cedar), mild and stainless steel, brass, aluminum, glass, stoneware, porcelain, and neodymium magnets.
How are your products finished?
For our wood, we use tung oil and food grade danish oil. It soaks into the hardwood and helps to seal the wood against wear and moisture to ensure that the piece will last and last.
For metal, we use paste wax. It has a low environmental impact and is water and rust resistant.
For ceramics, we glaze all of our stoneware for kitchen use. It is also dishwasher and microwave safe!
